It’s certainly not hard to occupy the headspace of a 17-year-old high school student, as we’ve all been there. We’ve all experienced high school for ourselves firsthand, in one way or another. But when it comes to the case of Texas-based 17-year-old Mack Beggs, that’s another story. All Beggs wanted to do was wrestle in the boys’ wrestling state championship. Texas law prohibits him from doing that, as you must wrestle as the gender on your birth certificate. Beggs is trans.
