A new beer brand designed for women is making the internet angry. Like, very angry. Namely, the booze is upsetting feminists all around the world. The question is: why? Keep reading to find out why people are hating on feminine-styled beer.
Beer for Women. A Czech beer company, Aurosa, is made for a woman and by a woman. The idea behind the women’s beer? That ladies don’t have to ‘sacrifice their natural femininity’ in order to succeed, Daily Mails reports.
The Beer. The beer is brewed in Rychvald in the Czech Republic. Founder Martina Smirova designed the beer specifically with women in mind, especially the feminine packaging.
Packaging. The beer comes in pink boxes and is marketed with hip young women holding it, and with the drink sitting among roses. However, critics are not loving the new concept. In fact, the response has been highly critical since the beer was brought to West Hampstead, London, Daily Mail reports.
