This summer is going to be a hot one. Sunscreen and hydration should be part of your survival kit. You also want to allow clothing to ventilate air. That being said all you need to keep it stylish are scissors and your favourite cotton shirts. We show you five t-shirt DIY customizations for your summer needs.
The Crop Top
Lay t-shirt flat on a table and make a straight cut two inches above belly button length (or as desired).
The Slashed Back
Simply cut a few straight lines right in the center of the back of the shirt. Leave 1 to 2 inches between lines.
The Teary Fringe
Make vertical cuts all around the bottom of the t-shirt. They should measure 1.27 centimeters each horizontally.
Lay flat on table and cut 2 straight diagonal lines 4-5 inches below sleeves until you reach 2 inches around the neckline.
The Side Slash
Cut a few straight lines on the sides of the shirt. Leave 1 to 2 inches between lines.
We hope you try some of these styles and come up with your own!
