According to the American Red Cross, only nine percent of people in the United States even have Type O negative blood. And apparently, every two seconds, someone in the United States needs a blood transfusion. So... if so many people need blood, why do we covet Type O blood so strongly? This is the real reason people with type O blood are so unique.
