It’s June, so happy Pride Month to all of our LGBTQIA+ readers. It’s time to celebrate and begin working on 2018’s gay agenda--totally kidding *wink*. The first Pride Parade occurred in 1969 during the Stonewall Riots in New York, but in 1978 the LGBT community got their first tangible symbol of pride: the gay flag. This rainbow flag has since inspired the creation of more flags specifically for the different subgroups, so let’s take a look at those and what they mean.
