Yes, the entitlement is big. Snowplow parents see their children as superior - which, to a point, is normal. What isn’t normal is that they will go to insane lengths to get “special treatment” for their kids. These are the kind of parents who also may intercede on their child’s behalf when their child starts to date, and may also think that no one is good enough for their kid.
And, the kids end up being resigned to just letting mom do it all. When you have snowplow parents, it just seems easier to just go the route they already paved for you and let mommy take care of the problems. When their parents die, these people will be totally helpless and unable to cope. Drinking will likely become common.
Sadly, despite all the problems it seems to be getting more popular. This should scare you, because if you think about it, this is a form of child abuse. This isn’t okay, and this isn’t going to be good for the kids later on.
