Questions. Despite the ridicule he’s faced since first announcing the product on Facebook, Dopps is convinced that his product will be sold to companies like Procter & Gamble or Kimberly Clark, reports Forbes. Although Dopps may have big dreams for his product, critics are eager to learn how a product that can withstand menstrual blood and sweat, somehow dissolves with urine, among other questions and concerns.
Anatomy. “It will be thoroughly tested and improved. It makes more sense than putting the plug up there,” Dopps told Forbes. Others have been quick to point out that Dopps seems to lack knowledge of the female anatomy, as he’s implied that the vagina and bladder are the same thing.
Period blood. Another thing that has shocked women is the fact that Dopps also seems to think that women are grossed out by their own periods, and shudder at the thought of having to touch their own period blood. “Mensez ends the period mind games. The blood stays securely inside where it should be and automatically washes away into the toilet everytime you pee, you don’t have to see it and you don’t have to touch it anymore,” writes Dopps on Facebook.
